Rhiannon Whitney, Ducking down under (ANIMALS 2025)

This photo was taken at Lake Rotoiti, New Zealand using a Canon R6 Mark ii and a Tamron 24-70mm lens. (29th April 2025) At first only one of the pair was ducking under water then it quacked at it's mate they both went under water together and I snapped this shot. Duck's can do this to play but I think they were foraging together on a duck date.
