Maryanne Gorman, Dragonfly Guardian (ANIMALS 2022)

After the passing of my mum, I have experienced many interactions with these beautiful creatures. This one, in particular, was banging on my kitchen window as I washed dishes. I know every encounter is a reminder that my mother watches over me and to pay tribute to these experiences, I photographed a self-portrait, holding my mother's photo with my Dragonfly Guardian on my shoulder.
