The SAHMRI building is one of the most photographed buildings in South Australia, but unless you work there, rarely do you have the opportunity to see this magnificent structure from the inside. Fortunately, I was presented with the opportunity to tour this striking building in 2024 and naturally I jumped at the opportunity! This spiral staircase connects two atriums, which facilitate visual connections and encourages interaction between researchers. The architectural design as a whole, by Woods Bagot, aims to promote collaboration and connection.
