Leana Brown, Displacement (PLACES 2021)

Discovered along the edge of a coastal walking trail the tiny home displaced by heavy rain and strong winds succumbed to the force of nature. The textures in the nest are testimony to the tedious care and warmth provided for new life. Sadly the egg occupied the nest in a state of decomposition compelling the viewer to contemplate the notion of place albeit fragile.
