Chris Freelance, Determined diner (ANIMALS 2025)

Sulphur-crested cockatoos are a frequent visitor to the trees along the backyard. Well known for their facial expressions, I love the look of determination on the face of this cockatoo as it tries to bite open a seed pod, looking very much like a human squinting and straining to bite through a hard piece of food.
