Reuben Oehlman, Detached (ANIMALS 2026)

While watching the flock, I noticed one corella that remained unusually still, avoiding the playful interactions of the others. Using a slow shutter speed, I allowed the movement around it to blur while keeping the quiet bird as my focus. I wanted to personify the corella, emphasising the feeling that time continues to pass while it remains lost in its own moment.
