This desert scene depicts beautiful and unique patterns that stretch across the sand-scape, with the lunettes in the distance casting their afternoon shadows across the landscape. This striking image took several trips and a lot of planning to capture the light and shadows depicted at the correct time of day and season, to achieve the desired photograph.
