Winter waves were crashing onto the coast south of Mystery Bay in NSW against an overcast sky. In my mind I wanted to create a shot that showed waves rolling in from the sea and then contrast between the white foam of the waves and the dark hardness of the rock. I liked this shot because it shows the difference in form between the rock and the water, while still showing the wider story of the disturbed winter weather.
