This solitary deceased Cider Gum illustrates the significant impact of overgrazing in Tasmania's Central Highlands. As a result, there has been a notable decline in the Cider Gum population, a species that holds considerable cultural importance for the Palawa People of Tasmania. Consequently, they are now listed as endangered.
