I love attending live music events and photographing them. I was shooting this blues band Daddy Long Legs and managed to capture the moment when someone in the crowd reached out their arm in a fist bump to meet the lead vocalist's outstretched arm. It was a gesture of rapport and affinity. The fist bump was reciprocated. Ironically, the tattoo on the arm, 'Buen Camino' embodies a deep sense of camaraderie, empathy and connection and is used as a warm greeting while walking on the Camino trail. This image encapsulated a fleeting moment of deep connection between two strangers.
