Natalie Petersen, Commemorate the Fallen (PEOPLE 2026)

This photograph was taken on a photowalk with a full spectrum converted Canon EOS 1500D with a Kolari 850 nm(nanometer) infrared filter. On the day this was taken, these ceremonial cannon firings may have been commemorate the Battle of Gang Toi where the army (first batillion - Royal Australian Regiment) fought against the VietCong in the Vietnam War. Althought this is not a traditional portraiture, the inclusion gives us time to reflect and commemorate our fallen.
