Amber King, Cold Reflection (PLACES 2024)

Cold Reflection We hiked, in May 2024, to Aires Tor in the Kosciusko National Park via the Rams Head Range and camped behind the massive monolithic granite tors. The afternoon reflections and light on the winter grasses created a serene but potentially perilous landscape captured perfectly in black and white. The ice gathered around the tor's reflection pools with one completely iced over.
