This photograph captures the lively energy of cockatoos as they swoop into the lake’s cool waters on a hot day. Their playful movements contrast with the intense heat, which I emphasized by adjusting the exposure to pull back the water, creating a sense of dryness and warmth. Despite their noisy presence, the cockatoos become the true heroes of the image—bold, free, and full of life.
