Lee Thatcher, Cinque Terre (PLACES 2026)
Wooden fishing boats rest in the still harbour of Cinque Terre, the terraced cliffs and village rising behind them beneath a gathering sky. In monochrome, the scene sheds its postcard colour and returns to something elemental — worn timber against polished water, soft Mediterranean light against brooding cloud, the order of moored boats against the wild geology of the Ligurian coast.
