In 2023 I went on a European sojourn to Montenegro for a photography residency where I got to connect with women from diverse corners of the globe. And what is a constant reminder to me is that water is the greatest equaliser of them all, and on an adventure out on the Adriatic Sea, off the coast of Petrovac, near a little tiny island with a church on it, we felt completely free. This image perfectly incapsulates that, as they swam up towards the surface, I captured this beautiful moment.
