A rare calm and silky ocean with hazy, humid and hot conditions that created this surreal experience. I was taken to another world. Quietly waiting. Anticipating something magical would happen. Next a humpback whale appeared, gently gliding through the ocean surface. With only its tail emerged, I wondered the tales it would tell from this seasons migration, and its life. The fluke being its identifier. Equivalent to our human fingerprint. Like us, no two are the same.
