Michael Tropiano, Caught out (ANIMALS 2023)

An awkward family photo of three Sweetlip, one who hasn't yet mastered the subtle art of smiling for the camera. Deep in a cave on a remote stretch of the Ningaloo Reef, a beam of light sneaks through a crack in the caves' roof, lighting up this scene so that it could be taken with only natural light. I don't think the fish expected to see me there.
