Reinhardt Moller, Catch of the day (ANIMALS 2023)

I spent a morning fascinated by this egret, watching how he was catching fish along the Oxenford Weir. A very skilful hunter, often catching two or three fish at the same time. It would throw them up to align, then catch them in the air and swallow them whole, before moving on to the next unsuspecting victim.
