Celia Anderson, Car park (PLACES 2025)

My husband and I were staying in Melbourne during Easter weekend. This was Easter Saturday and he went out and take photos of a city sunrise. I decided to stay and sat next to the window as I watched the unusually quiet Melbourne. Then I looked down and saw this low rise roof car park next to our hotel. I was drawn to its geometric feel and the lights seem to soften the whole scene. There was just enough light from the sky to lift the shadows but keep the glow from the carpark lights.
