Peter Ogden, Cabin Fever (PLACES 2022)

As Sydney’s third COVID lockdown ground on, and my movement was reduced to just 5km from home, I realised the Timber Getters Track was 4.9km away. Once I made it down to the water, I endeavoured to return up the old track, but the sun just kept putting on a better and better show each time I tried, and it was a case of “Just one more pic…” Then the morning sun hit this old cabin and steam started to pour from the moist timbers. This is the last image I took…I am glad I stuck around.
