Ngaire Hart, Bulbus Kelp Campbell Island (PLACES 2026)
Southern Bulb Kelp can reach up to 10m and wiegh 70 kg. This species is well adapted to the cold waters near Campbell Island, part of the Sub-Antartic UNESCO a world hertiage area, south of New Zealand, half way to Antartica. No one is allowed to land on this Island and this photo taken on a zodiac excursion.
