A Saddle Bronc rider mimics the face of his unbroken horse, both with excruciating emotional anguish. This is exactly the moment I wanted to capture as they battled it our at teh Queanbeyan Rodeo 25 for the required 8 seconds. Monochrome really allowed me to bring out the detail in the horse and rider with no colour distraction. The flying dirt demonstrates the frantic action and supports the moment very well.
