Jeremy Commerford, Briefly Settled (ANIMALS 2024)

A solitary Graphic Flutterer (Rhyothemis graphiptera) resting on a dried and withered stem of wild grass in the bushlands of the Atherton Tablelands, Far North Queensland. Never stopping for long, these dragonflies (or any for that matter) are difficult to capture in a moment of rest, making it all the more worth the effort for the shot.
