Jane Barnes, Bohinj Awakening (Places)

Leaving our hotel in the dark on a freezing frosty morning, we arrived at Lake Bohinj anxiously awaiting sunrise. It was the middle of Winter and no-one was around. Navigating the ice safely in the dark was a challenge but so worth the effort. As the sun came up, the mist came down and shrouded St John Church and the bridge. The mood of the scene was breathtaking
