Celeste Leete, Blooming Beauty (PEOPLE 2021)

Through portrait photography, this image explores the human body and nature. I explored the work of David LaChapelle, as his work is well-known for his blend of colourful, conceptual imagery, influenced by both Surrealism and Pop Art. I was also inspired by photographer, Bella Kotak's series "Floral Storm". My aim was to achieve the look of flawless, glowing skin, with soft lighting on the face, evoking a surreal mood.
