Ken Butler, Bird in Makeup (ANIMALS 2021)

This was taken late one afternoon on the Bank of the Noosa River, using a 100-400 mm zoom lens at about 400mm. It was processed and cropped in Lightroom. it was about 5 metres away and the zoom lens and cropping enabled amazing detail of the beak and eye shadow to be revealed.
