Chris Freelance, Big yawn (ANIMALS 2026)

Like most vertebrates, yawning is a behaviour very commonly seen in the endangered New Zealand sea lion. Theirs is one of the most dramatic with their mouths opening to an almost 90 degree angle at the peak of the yawn.
