Shannon Smith, Beryl (PEOPLE 2022)

I asked to capture beautiful Beryl after her recent 96th Birthday. Medical issues are starting to overtake her mind & body, & I really wanted to create a setting with some personal items of hers. When she saw her wedding photo. her eyes lit up & she got so excited. Dementia is a cruel disease. but some memories never fade.
