Shayla Hall, Beneath The Vatican (PLACES 2023)

Why in this century do we only have decorative tiles on the floors and paintings on the wall? The 4th Century have some of the most mesmerising artwork painted directly onto the roof. The Vatican City had some of the most inspiring and breathtaking work in the whole of Europe. It was the most rewarding being able to look up and see the most sensational artwork, looking at the roof these days definitely don't give you that satisfaction anymore and its incredibly disappointing.
