Thusith Muhandiram, Beneath the Storm (PLACES 2026)
Dark clouds descend over Milford Sound as Mitre Peak emerges from mist and shadow. A lone vessel crosses the still waters below, providing a sense of scale against the immense landscape. The monochrome treatment emphasises the drama, isolation and raw power of nature in one of New Zealand’s most iconic wilderness settings.
