Louise Faulkner, Belle, uncertain. (PEOPLE 2021)
Her eyes cloud more easily. She worries about personal space and hand-washing habits. She thinks about life and death and disease and loss. She shrinks from crowds, fears the closeness of night and clings to those of us lucky enough to be near her. The effects of the COVID era are indelibly etched on her too-small life experience, obscuring her view of our beautiful world, unbearably dimming her light.
