Over the years I've taken enough photos that I have a good idea if a shot would look better in Black and White. The moment I took this photo at the Adelaide Zoo, I smiled as I could instantly imagine how the final image would turn out. I'm also happy with the timing of this shot, as the Pelican is standing in a unique position, which in my opinion adds to the final product.
