Cheryl Dunn, Australian Classic (ANIMALS 2026)

Most will agree the Sulphur Crested Cockatoo is not a recluse nor the shy and retiring type. But for those who like to watch and learn, they are surprisingly intelligent and quite interesting to observe. On a recent trip to the Whitsundays I enjoyed the opportunity to explore their social empathy and mischievous personalities in close up encounters where they were just as curious about me as I was of them.
