A large female tiger shark in Maldives. They can grow up to 5-6m in length, making them one of the largest toothed species of sharks. Surprisingly, their movements are notoriously calm and slow only with bursts of speed when they’re hunting prey. They’re considered ambush predators and have an incredible ability to blend with their surroundings, making them an efficient hunter. These animals are a sight to behold and a marvel of nature’s engineering.
