David Watson, Anticipation (PLACES 2025)

This image was captured at dawn in Point Lonsdale, Victoria, on this beautiful jetty which stretches outward towards the Rip and the entrance to Port Phillip Bay.I did minimal adjustments in PS Elements, including the conversion to Black and White , plus shadows and highlights. This was captured on my now vintage Fuji X PRO 1 , a quirky but excellent little unit, tripod mounted. Settings were F5.6 and a 6 second exposure, no filters were used, lens in use was my Fujinon 16-55 F2.8.
