Marcus Ward Curran, afternoon drift (PLACES 2024)

As the afternoon rolls on, so do the clouds and casting shadows over the rolling hills of Kanoona in the Bega Valley, NSW. The farm lies silent aside from ruslting grass in the light breeze and distant bleet of a sheep or two. Natural forms of undulation are contrasted by harsh lines of the structures that hint there may be more work to this farm than the visible scene.
