GERARD DE ROO, After The Floods (PEOPLE 2025)

I took this photograph a couple of days after cyclone Alfred made landfall. Walking in our local area and seeing the results of the flood levels and debris it has left behind. My eye was drawn to the man’s headwear that emulated the debris left on the fence.
