marlies loescher, A sheep's winter look (ANIMALS 2022)

On a little getaway from the city, I ended up in WA's outback on a little farmstay. The weather was cold, windy and rainy. Fields partly flooded. On a stormy walk I noticed one of the two resident sheep had come close to the fence. It's wool so thick that the weather didn't seem to bother the sheep. He let me pet him on his forehead and nose which made him so chilled he closed his eyes... The look captured was just before he seemingly went to doze off despite the storm. In this picture "The Look" refers to the woolen hairstyle as well as to the calm expression in his eye.
