Lionel Lauch is an aboriginal man, residing on the Mornington Peninsula, where he teaches his culture - to everyone, black or white. He is a gifted storyteller who has suffered greatly in his life, but he now helps others, including young aboriginals coming out of jail. He has a gift with people of all ages and races. He has formed his own company, “Living Culture” and his two children work alongside him. I took this portrait of Lionel early this year; I believe his eyes reveal his character. On his chest are the words “Empower, Educate, Engage.
