Falconry has been a tradition for males in the Steppes of Central Asia for thousands of years. It is still the way of life for the nomadic Kazakh people of the Altai Mountains in West Mongolia. This girl is one of a new generation, of female hunters. She looked so devoted to her eagle, and the feeling seemed mutual.
