WINNERS ANNOUNCED 17 SEPTEMBER 2025: Winners and Runners-Up have been announced at www.australianphotography.com and at www.capturemag.com. The October-November 2025 issue of Australian Photography magazine features the Top 40 entries in each of the three categories – People, Places and Animals. Thank you to the incredibly talented photographers who entered –  we do hope you enjoyed the experience. The Mono Awards will return again in February 2026.

Now in its seventh year The Mono Awards, presented by Synology, celebrates everything you love about black & white photography.

The Mono Awards is open to photographers around the world and offers a prize pool worth more than $16,000, including $12,000 cash, and over $4,400 in Synology prizes.

The best 90 entries will be published in a special Mono Awards edition of Australian Photography magazine in September 2025. Winners and Runners-Up will also be announced at australianphotography.com, capturemag.com.au and themonoawards.com.au.
